MMM Canada is a not-for-profit corporation, governed by a Board of Directors consisting of up to twenty (20) elected members (17 members in 2023). Board members are elected by the membership, confirmed at the Annual General Meeting, and serve three-year terms, to ensure continuity and stability for the organization. All Board members must be registered members of MMM Canada.
Mark your Calendars! The MMM Canada Board of Directors elections takes place in July each year. Call for nominations is forwarded by email in early June to all MMM Canada members and will include vacant positions to be filled.
Interested in a rewarding experience? Members can join the Board of Directors for MMM Canada. It’s an opportunity to make a difference in supporting the broader MMM community. You are invited to nominate yourself for a position on the MMM Canada Board. The term of office is for three years.
The MMM Canada Board is a ‘working board’ where each member takes on some aspects of the services delivered to members (e.g., social media, membership, archives, training). We meet at least four times a year to discuss new ideas or projects, review progress and manage the business of the corporation. This is an excellent opportunity to network with Board colleagues, virtually or in-person. Board members are also expected to contribute to specific services or committees, including planning and coordinating workshops, or activities related to networking, professional development and communicating with members.
We encourage you to refer to the Description of Offices for details (to come).
